The Rhythmic Annual Festival of ‘Divyalaya’ Successfully Concludes

Divyalaya, an online platform for rhythmic education, held its annual festival in June 2024 at A.N. Sinha Institute, Patna. Bihar State IPS Officer Mr. Vikas Vaibhav was the chief guest. The event began with a tribute to Shrii Shrii Anandamurti Jii, Ananda Marga Propounder and founder of RAWA and the Women’s Welfare Department (WWD), with garlanding, offering flowers, and lighting lamps.

Acharya Gunindrananda Avadhut introduced the ‘Renaissance Artists and Writers Association’ (Rawa), emphasizing its role in promoting moral and spiritual artistic creation. He encouraged Divyalaya members to follow this ideology.

Students from Ananda Marga School (Bettiah) performed dances on Prabhat Sangeet songs. Two plays were staged: one on the plight of elderly people in old age homes and another on the severe consequences of child labor.

The ‘Kaushiki Dance Competition’ featured participants from Vidya International Public School, Masaurhi. Advocate Mrs. Poonam from Patna High Court highlighted its health benefits for women. The ‘Tandava Dance Competition,’ led by Acharya Chidambarananda Avadhut, showcased its historical and health significance for men. Winners from both competitions received shields.

Mrs. Manjari Nidhi ‘Gul’ from Baroda anchored the event, and founder Vyjana Anand ‘Mithya’ thanked all participants and jury members.

International Yoga Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervor by Ananda Marga across various locations around the globe. Let’s take a look at the celebrations that took place in different places:

Anandanagar

Ananda Marga Gurukul organized a grand celebration of International Yoga Day at Anandanagar. Students from Chitmu School and various village schools participated enthusiastically, showcasing their incredible yoga skills through Asanas, Kaushiki, and Tandava. Esteemed personalities such as Gurukul Kulapati Ac. Sambhushivananda Avt, Anandanagar Yoga Wellness Director Ac. Dharmavedananda Avt., and Rector Master Ac. Anirvanananda Avt. graced the event, elevating its significance.

Anandanagar Naturopathy and Yogic Treatment Center

On the occasion of Yoga Divas 2023 Ananda Nagar Naturopathy and Yogic Treatment Center (ANYTC) organised a program in the villages Gurubadar and Citraguti. There was a demonstration of various asanas for treating chronic disease such as acidity, gas, body pain, Asthma, menstrual problems, and anxiety/weak memory. Guidance was also given on diet and lifestyle and there was a distribution of healthy alkaline foods. Amongst the many villagers who came there was lots of interest in the daily outpatient service program taking place in ANYTC, where villagers get some natural medicines and Yoga-Naturopathy treatment and guidance

Shimla

Ananda Marga School Shimla and Govt. Hr. Sec. School students participated in the Yoga Day Celebration held at the Baseball ground of Army Base Camp in Shimla. The event was led by Ac Nyaybodh Bramhachari.

Jaipur

Ananda Marga Students Volunteer Summer Camp concluded successfully, offering participants yoga-meditation training, art, music classes, and engaging service activities.

Bangalore

Ananda Marga School children actively participated in yoga and meditation practice guided by Avadhutika Ananda Anupama Acarya and other trainees.

Deepeshwar Ji from Bangalore guided participants of Logic Fruit Technology in various yogasana postures, focusing on breathing exercises, neuro-glandular exercises, asanas postures, and the mystical dance known as Kaushiki. The session also included meditation practice, fostering concentrated and methodical thinking.

Darbhanga

Trivendrum

9th International Yoga Day 2023 has been celebrated with Sri V.V. Rajesh ( B.J.P. District President, Trivandrum ) and other dignitaries in Uday Palace Convention Centre, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Acarya Sadashivand Avadhuta was invited in the Yoga Day program

Aluva Kerala

International Yoga Day was celebrated on 21/06/2023 at 9.30 AM at Aluva Court Complex under the joint auspices of Aluva Taluk Legal Services Committee and Aluva Bar Association. In the meeting chaired by Aluva Bar Association President Adv.P.N.Unnikrishnan, Aluva Family Court Judge and Aluva Taluk Legal Services Committee Chairman Shri A.F. Varghese inaugurated the event Taluk Legal Services Committee Secretary TK Shafir extended the welcome address. Adv.K Srija (Srija Didi as a disciple of Shri Shri Anandamurti Jii), who delivered the keynote address, explained about the role of yoga in the expansion of human mind and integration of human society. In connection with the practical session, the audience was introduced to the yoga dance “Kaushiki” which is a remedy for more than 22 diseases and explained how yoga can be the gateway to a medicine-free life. Judicial officers, Bar Association representatives, Advocates, Advocates’ Clerks Association representatives, Court employees, PLVs etc. participated in the celebrations.

Saraikela

Ananda Marga Pracharak Sangh Seraikela Kharswan organized World Yoga Day at Zonal Railway Training Institute, South Eastern Railway Sini. Around 400 trainee TT guards, station masters, and staff actively participated in the event, practicing various yoga postures and asanas.

Tatanagar

Rajendra Ji conducted a Yogasanas session for doctors of GM Medical Services at Tata Main Hospital in Tatanagar. He also presented the Yoga Psychology Book by Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji to the head of the department.

Bhopal

Ananda Marga School conducted an Inter-School Yoga Competition, with participation from two branches of Ananda Marga School and Abha Vidya Niketan School. The program received coordination and support from RS Ranchi Ac Dhirjanand Avt, DS Bhopal Ac. Ragatitanand Avt, Ajay Ji, Pradeep Ji, and others.

Sagar

Ananda Marga School students in Sagar demonstrated various yogasanas.

Pitthoragarh

Ananda Marga School students performed yogasanas practice, accompanied by profound Kaushiki and Tandava performances.

Hazaribagh

Ananda Marga team from Hazaribagh was invited to Surekha Prakash Bhai Public School to teach 500 students the profound practice of Asanas, Kaushiki, and Tandava. DS Dada, Ritesh Ji, and others led the program.

Coimbatore

Ac Amritaksharananda Avt. conducted a yogasanas class at Nandha College of Physiotherapy, with the participation of 500 students.

On June 18th, Ananda Marga organized Yoga day events in the campus of Ghana University, where exercises, asanas, Kaushiki, and Tandava were practiced. Additionally Yoga Day was celebrated in Baba Quarter, Madhu Shya’ma.

Ananda Purnima DMS Concludes at Anandanagar with Vibrant Celebrations, Spiritual Discourses, and Cultural Performances

Anandanagar, 07/06/2023– The Dharma Mahasammelan on the occasion of Ananda Purnima concluded on June 4th, 2023, with a grand culmination of vibrant festivities, spiritual discourses, and captivating cultural performances. Held from June 2nd to June 4th, the event attracted devotees from various locations, who gathered to immerse themselves in the divine atmosphere.

The event witnessed the enchanting practice of Collective Kiirtan and the melodious singing of Prabhat Samgiita, filling the air with devotion and spiritual energy. Participants experienced a sense of peace, freedom from unrest, stress, and anxiety, as emphasized in the holy address delivered by Rev. Purodha Pramukha Dada ji. His inspiring speeches focused on the power of Kirtan as the best spiritual practice and the significance of intuitional practice and Dhyan for progressing on the path of real knowledge.

Rev. Purodha Pramukha Dada ji further emphasized the direct connection between the devotee and the Supreme Father, debunking the notion of any intermediary entity. The transformative power of devotion was highlighted, as devotees witnessed the disappearance of negative emotions such as jealousy, attachment, malice, hatred, and false dignity from their minds.

A significant event during the Ananda Purnima DMS was the RU (Renaissance Universal) Speech, with the topic centered around the pressing issues of climate change and health hazards. The discourse shed light on the urgent need for awareness and action to mitigate the effects of climate change and safeguard public health.

Meeting and Reporting

In a special gathering, Rev. Purodha Pramukha Dada ji met with whole-time workers from various departments, Acaryas, Tattvikas, Bhukti Pradhans, students, teachers, and LFTs. They shared their achievements and progress reports, providing an opportunity for collective growth and inspiration.

RAWA Cultural Evening

Adding to the cultural richness of the event, the evenings featured captivating performances by talented artists from Anandanagar, Bhopal, Ranchi, and other places. The artists enthralled the audience with beautiful renditions of Prabhat Samgiita, accompanied by graceful dances. Two plays were staged, with one highlighting the theme of PROUT (Progressive Utilization Theory), and the other centered around the establishment of Dharma.

Awards and Recognition and Blessing to Newlywed Couples

Rev. Purodha Pramukha Dada ji graced the occasion with a prize distribution ceremony, recognizing the contributions and outstanding work in various areas such as Dharma Pracar, HPMG (Harii Parimandal Gosthi), Public Relation, Technical Media Support, AMURT Relief work, and the commendable efforts of local full-timers. Additionally, he blessed newlywed couples, imparting his ideation for them to live their lives akin to Shiva and Parvati, embodying love and unity.

As the Ananda Purnima DMS concluded, devotees departed with hearts full of spiritual bliss and inspiration, carrying the teachings and messages of the event into their lives and communities.
