Babanagar, Jamalpur, Bihar | 23–25 October 2026

The three-day Dharma Mahásammelan (DMS) 2026, organized by Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha, concluded successfully at Ananda Sambhuti Master Unit, Babanagar, Jamalpur, Bihar, bringing together thousands of Ananda Margiis, Ácáryas, spiritual aspirants and representatives from India and different parts of the world.

Held in the serene and spiritually inspiring surroundings of Ananda Sambhuti, the gathering became a grand celebration of collective devotion, spiritual wisdom, yogic practices, cultural expression and universal brotherhood.

The Dharma Mahásammelan was graced by the divine presence of Revered Purodha Pramukh Ácárya Vishvadevánanda Avadhúta, whose inspiring discourses provided spiritual guidance to devotees throughout the three-day congregation.

72 Hours of Akhanda Kiirtan: A Celebration of Divine Love

One of the most remarkable highlights was the 72-hour continuous Akhanda Kiirtan, with the universal mantra Baba Nam Kevalam, meaning “Love Is All There Is.”

Thousands of devotees participated in collective chanting, singing and devotional dancing, creating an atmosphere filled with spiritual inspiration and bliss.

Special Ávarta Kiirtan sessions were led by respected Ácáryas and Didis, while overseas Ácáryas and Margiis also joined the collective devotional gatherings. The musical presentations, including Hari Parimaṇḍala Goṣṭhī and performances by RAWA members, further enriched the devotional atmosphere.

The Akhanda Kiirtan concluded on the final day, leaving participants with unforgettable experiences of collective spiritual joy and unity.

Spiritual Discourses by Revered Purodha Pramukh

Throughout the conference, Revered Purodha Pramukh delivered insightful discourses addressing the deeper aspects of spiritual practice, human psychology and devotion.

Among the major themes were:

  • Applicability of Kiirtana: The purpose, importance and spiritual significance of collective Kiirtan.
  • The Necessity of Devotion in Yoga: The indispensable role of exclusive devotion and the longing for the Supreme in attaining the highest goal of yoga.
  • Tantra and Yoga: The relationship between spiritual discipline, mental transformation and the realization of the Supreme.
  • Six Defects of Human Behaviour: An exploration of six human weaknesses, their biopsychological aspects and practical approaches towards overcoming them.

The discourses emphasized the importance of controlling mental propensities, developing moral and spiritual discipline, and directing the mind towards the Supreme Consciousness.

During the final day’s session, Revered PP Dada also shared inspiring experiences associated with Shrii Shrii Anandamurti (Baba), bringing devotees closer to the spiritual legacy and teachings of their beloved Guru.

Collective Meditation, Prabhát Saḿgiita and Yogic Practices

Each day commenced with spiritually uplifting activities, including Páñcajanya, Prabhát Saḿgiita, collective Kiirtan and meditation.

Devotional presentations of Prabhát Saḿgiita, composed by Shrii Shrii Anandamurti, provided an opportunity for participants to experience the philosophical and devotional richness of Baba’s musical compositions.

The conference also featured energetic Tándava and Kaoshikii demonstrations and competitions, highlighting two distinctive yogic dance practices taught within Ananda Marga.

Tándava demonstrated courage, vitality and physical strength, while the graceful 18-step Kaoshikii dance emphasized physical and mental well-being, discipline and coordinated movement.

Participants of different age groups enthusiastically took part in these demonstrations and competitions.

RAWA Cultural Programmes and Creative Expression

The Renaissance Artists and Writers Association (RAWA) organized inspiring cultural programmes featuring devotional music, dance, artistic presentations and performances by children and young participants.

These programmes reflected the spirit of Neohumanism, cultural creativity and the harmonious integration of art with spirituality.

The performances received enthusiastic appreciation from devotees and visitors, demonstrating how music, dance and cultural activities can serve as meaningful expressions of spiritual values.

Global Participation and Universal Brotherhood

The Dharma Mahásammelan witnessed the participation of Ananda Margiis, workers and spiritual seekers from different regions of India and overseas.

Despite differences in nationality, language and cultural background, participants gathered as members of one universal spiritual family, united by the ideals of self-realization and service to humanity — Átmamokśárthaḿ Jagaddhitáya Ca.

The event also featured departmental exhibitions, informational counters, interactions among representatives and discussions concerning various service and organizational activities of Ananda Marga.

Awards, Recognition and Felicitation

During the concluding sessions, Revered Purodha Pramukh Ácárya Vishvadevánanda Avadhúta presented awards, certificates and recognitions to deserving participants, organizational cadres, volunteers and representatives.

Recognition was given for outstanding contributions to the successful organization of DMS, participation in Tándava and Kaoshikii competitions, HPMG activities, fieldwork and various service initiatives.

Winners of the Online Prabhát Saḿgiita Competition were also felicitated.

A particularly meaningful moment was the blessing extended by Revered PP Dada to newly married couples who had entered into Revolutionary Marriage, reflecting the progressive social ideals of Ananda Marga.

Dedicated Volunteers and Global Live Coverage

The successful organization of DMS Babanagar 2026 was made possible through the collective dedication of Ananda Marga workers, departmental representatives, local organizers, Margiis and numerous volunteers.

Their contributions in hospitality, accommodation, food arrangements, event management, cultural coordination and other essential services were instrumental in creating a welcoming environment for participants.

The Public Relations team played an important role in documenting, photographing, filming and broadcasting the major sessions live, enabling Margiis and devotees across the globe to participate virtually and experience the spiritual atmosphere of the gathering.

A Memorable Conclusion

The three-day Dharma Mahásammelan concluded with collective meditation, devotional Kiirtan, inspiring blessings, cultural presentations and recognition of dedicated participants.

Ananda Marga Celebrates International Yoga Day 2026 Across the Globe

21 June 2026

Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha enthusiastically celebrated International Day of Yoga 2026 across numerous countries, cities, educational institutions, government offices, community centers, and public spaces around the world.

The celebrations brought together thousands of participants from diverse backgrounds, including students, teachers, government officials, professionals, community leaders, and spiritual seekers. Yoga demonstrations, meditation sessions, yogasanas, Kaoshikii dance, Tandava, health awareness programs, and spiritual discourses were conducted in collaboration with district administrations, schools, colleges, offices, resident welfare associations, and local communities.

From India to Australia, Europe to Southeast Asia, and many other regions, participants experienced the holistic benefits of Yoga through practical sessions guided by dedicated Ananda Marga Yoga teachers, Acaryas, and volunteers.

The essence of Yoga was highlighted through the timeless Sanskrit aphorism:

“संयोगो योगो इत्युक्तो, जीवात्मा परमात्मनः।”

Yoga is not merely physical exercise. True Yoga is the union of the individual soul (Jiivātma) with the Supreme Consciousness (Paramātman). It is the path of inner growth, self-realization, harmony, and spiritual awakening.

Throughout the celebrations, special emphasis was placed on the deeper spiritual dimensions of Yoga as taught by Shrii Shrii Anandamurti, the founder of Ananda Marga. Participants were encouraged to adopt Yoga as a complete way of life that nurtures physical health, mental clarity, emotional balance, and spiritual progress.

The events demonstrated that Yoga transcends boundaries of nationality, culture, religion, and language, serving as a universal science for human well-being and collective harmony.

As the world faces increasing physical, mental, social, and environmental challenges, Yoga offers a practical path toward peace, resilience, and inner fulfillment.

Let us embrace Yoga as a way of life—bringing balance to the body, clarity to the mind, and bliss to the soul.

Yoga is the path. Yoga is the Dharma.

🌿 May this International Yoga Day inspire everyone to practice Yoga, Meditation, and a life of service and universal love.
