Ananda Marga Celebrates International Yoga Day 2026 Across the Globe

Ananda Marga Celebrates International Yoga Day 2026 Across the Globe

21 June 2026

Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha enthusiastically celebrated International Day of Yoga 2026 across numerous countries, cities, educational institutions, government offices, community centers, and public spaces around the world.

The celebrations brought together thousands of participants from diverse backgrounds, including students, teachers, government officials, professionals, community leaders, and spiritual seekers. Yoga demonstrations, meditation sessions, yogasanas, Kaoshikii dance, Tandava, health awareness programs, and spiritual discourses were conducted in collaboration with district administrations, schools, colleges, offices, resident welfare associations, and local communities.

From India to Australia, Europe to Southeast Asia, and many other regions, participants experienced the holistic benefits of Yoga through practical sessions guided by dedicated Ananda Marga Yoga teachers, Acaryas, and volunteers.

The essence of Yoga was highlighted through the timeless Sanskrit aphorism:

“संयोगो योगो इत्युक्तो, जीवात्मा परमात्मनः।”

Yoga is not merely physical exercise. True Yoga is the union of the individual soul (Jiivātma) with the Supreme Consciousness (Paramātman). It is the path of inner growth, self-realization, harmony, and spiritual awakening.

Throughout the celebrations, special emphasis was placed on the deeper spiritual dimensions of Yoga as taught by Shrii Shrii Anandamurti, the founder of Ananda Marga. Participants were encouraged to adopt Yoga as a complete way of life that nurtures physical health, mental clarity, emotional balance, and spiritual progress.

The events demonstrated that Yoga transcends boundaries of nationality, culture, religion, and language, serving as a universal science for human well-being and collective harmony.

As the world faces increasing physical, mental, social, and environmental challenges, Yoga offers a practical path toward peace, resilience, and inner fulfillment.

Let us embrace Yoga as a way of life—bringing balance to the body, clarity to the mind, and bliss to the soul.

Yoga is the path. Yoga is the Dharma.

🌿 May this International Yoga Day inspire everyone to practice Yoga, Meditation, and a life of service and universal love.
