Enriching Bengaluru’s Youth through Yoga and meditation

Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha Bengaluru recently organized a Short-Term Yoga Certification Training Program from April 15th to April 24th, 2024. Led by trainer Avadhutika Ananda Aradhana Acarya and guided by Ananda Marga Gurukul, the program aimed to introduce yoga and meditation practices to undergraduate students from Govt. First Grade College Domlur, Shantinagar Bengaluru.

The training sessions included yoga asanas for physical and mental well-being, concentration-enhancing exercises, neuro-exercises, and Kaushiki yogic dance, known for its therapeutic benefits. On the final day, gratitude was expressed by the Principal, professors, and participants. Additionally, a Kaushiki competition and a written exam based on the teachings during the camp were conducted, with certificates being issued to the participants.

Unleashing Potential: As’tanga Yoga Centre’s Gurukulam Special Summer Camp Transforms Lives in Calicut, Kerala

The As’tanga Yoga Centre in Calicut, Kerala, organized a Gurukulam Special Summer Camp for youngsters in the area, ages 8 to 15. The program, which ran from April 8 to April 13, 2024, attracted about 15 children. Yoga, arts and crafts, music, mind games, Kalari (ancient martial arts), and narrative sessions with moral and inspirational themes were among the activities offered during the camp. Throughout the program, the pupils were served wholesome meals. Together with guest trainers from Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha, such as Aca’rya Rasasiddhananda Avadhuta and Aca’rya Krsnasundarananda Avadhuta, the camp welcomed local trainers. Certificates and keepsakes were given to participants at the closing ceremony. Secretary Rashmi Ananda and her group successfully planned the event.

Education Training Camp in Anandanagar

Ananda Marga Pracharaka Samgha’s ERAWS department successfully organized a five-day education training camp in Anand Nagar from May 20th to May 24th, 2023. The camp welcomed Sanyasi Dada, Didi, and teachers from various Anand Marg Schools across India. The daily routine of the camp commenced with Guru Sakash at 4:30 in the morning and concluded at 11:00 at night. Participants engaged in activities such as Panchajanya at 5:00 AM, Asana, Kaushiki, and individual and group meditation in the morning and evening sessions. Two classes were conducted each day from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, featuring different trainers who taught innovative teaching methodologies for children. The trainers included Acharya Swaroopanand Avadhuta ji, Mrinal Pathak ji, Avdhutika Anand Suniti Acharya, Acharya Gunindranand Avadhuta ji, Fayaz Ahmed ji, and Jaygovind ji. The participants showed great interest in the subjects and expressed their willingness to implement the learnings in their respective schools.

Evening hours at the camp were dedicated to various competitions, including recitation of rhymes, moral storytelling, teaching techniques, cultural performances, and culminated with a Kaushiki and Tandav competition on the final day. The closing ceremony of the camp, held on May 24th, 2023, was marked by the distribution of prizes to the winners and participants. Distinguished guests in attendance included Sectoral Secretary of Delhi Sector, Acharya Pushpendranand Avadhuta ji, Education Incharge-1 Acharya Navarunanand Avdhoot ji, Swws Didi Avdhutika Anand Madhurima Acharya, and Education Incharge-1-L Avdhutika Anand Suniti Acharya. Camp incharge EI-1 Acharya Navarunanand Avadhuta ji diligently ensured the smooth execution of all arrangements.
