Ananda Purnima Dharma MahaSammelan: A Blissful Spiritual Gathering at Anandanagar

On the sacred occasion of Ananda Purnima 2024, Dharma MahaSammelan took place at the City of Bliss, Anandanagar. This three-day spiritual gathering proved to be a profound and blissful experience for all attendees. Amid the serene and natural surroundings of Anandnagar, devotees explored the expressions of devotion captured in motion pictures at the DMS Pandal, connecting deeply with the spiritual heritage of this sacred place. On the auspicious occasion of Anand Purnima, all the devotees, brothers and sisters of Baba are welcome to the Dharma Mahasammelan on 7, 8 and 9 June 2024 at Ananda Marga’s World Spiritual Center Ananda Nagar.

“Baba Nam Kevalam is Kiirtana of Harii, those who sings it wholeheartedly, they are more intelligent,” said A’ca’rya Vishwadevananda Avadhuta

Purodha Pramukh Dada mentioned that the continuous Akhand Kiirtan has been going on in Ananda Nagar for the past 700 days. Therefore, whoever comes here should engage in Kiirtan enthusiastically. Kiirtan affects trees, plants, animals, birds, the animate and the inanimate alike, and all derive joy from it. Whoever listens to it will have their mind purified.

Inner and Outer Harmony: Enriching Summer Camp for Kids in Bengaluru

The Women Welfare Department, Bengaluru organized an enriching Summer Camp at Ananda Marga School, KG Halli, Bengaluru, guided by Ananda Marga Gurukula and Neohumanist Education. Held offline from May 13th to 17th, 2024, the camp centered on the theme “Inner and Outer Harmony” and saw participation from 45 children aged 5-11 years.

Camp Highlights:

Neohumanist Education Summer Camp at Ananda Marga School, K.G. Halli

Day 1:

  • Introduction Badge: Participants share inspirations.
  • Yoga: Tree pose, Bhujangasanas, Breathing exercises.
  • Song: “Let’s Move Together – SAM’GACCHADHVAM.”
  • Activity: Importance of moving together for overall progress using stories, visuals, and interactive sessions.

Day 2:

  • Introductory Song
  • Yoga: Asana practice.
  • Concept: SAM’VADADHVAM – unity in speech and thought.
  • Discussion and Storytelling: “May you move in harmony, speak in one voice, and may your minds be in agreement to establish a better society.” Participants share their experiences.
  • Game: Spider Web incorporating the concept of unity.

Day 3:

  • Introductory Song
  • Yoga: Asana practice.
  • Concept: SAM’VOMANÁM’ SI JÁNATA’M – collective understanding.
  • Discussion and Storytelling: “With our minds put together, may we understand the importance of staying in the company of good people.” Interactive sessions for participants to share their feelings.

Day 4:

  • Concept Discussion: “Deva Bhagam Yatha Purve Sanjanana Upasate”.
    • Emphasis on equal distribution of food, shelter, clothing, medication, and education.
    • Steps towards creating a better world and its application in daily lives.

Day 5:

  • Introductory Song: SAMÁNII VA A’KÚTIH, emphasizing the immense potential of human beings.
  • Activities: Discovering the goodness and hidden superhero within oneself.
  • Discussion: Understanding how calming the mind helps oneself.
  • Concept Introduction: SAMÁNÁ HRDAYÁNIVAH – Love for all.
    • Exploring how love is innate and embedded in nature.
    • Discussion about positive and negative emotions.

Participants learned through stories, yoga, songs, and interactive activities, guided by the principles of Neohumanist education.

Key contributors to the success of the program included Avtk. Ananda Anupama Acarya, Reetu Didi, Margavi Didi, Manjula Didi, and Diptima Didi. Additionally, parents were introduced to Ananda Marga’s ideology and philosophy through their children’s active participation in the camp.

बांग्लादेश में आनंद मार्ग प्रचारक संघ द्वारा धर्म महासम्मेलन अयोजित

बांग्लादेश धर्म महासम्मेलन में आनंद मार्ग ने कहा आध्यात्मिक अनुशीलन एवं कुसंस्कारों के विरूद्ध संग्राम से ही शांति संभव है

कोलकाता रीजन के रीजनल सेक्रेटरी आचार्य नवरूणानंद अवधूत के प्रयास से रांची आनंद मार्ग जागृति रातू रोड से बांग्लादेश श्रद्धेय पुरोधा प्रमुख दादा का प्रतिनिधित्व करने रांची से बांग्लादेश धर्म महासम्मेलन को संबोधित करने गए सीनियर पुरोधा आचार्य विमलानंद अवधूत बांग्लादेश की राजधानी ढाका में हिस्टोरिकल रामना काली मंदिर, ढाका यूनिवर्सिटी के पास में आयोजित किया गया। आनंद मार्ग प्रचारक संघ की ओर से तीन दिवसीय धर्म महासम्मेलन 28, 29 एवं 30 मार्च 2024 को आयोजन किया गया।किसी कारणवश श्रद्धेय पुरोधा प्रमुख आचार्य विश्वदेवानंद अवधूत बांग्लादेश नहीं जा सके। उनके प्रतिनिधित्व के लिए वरिष्ठ पुरोधा आचार्य विमलानंद अवधूत को धर्म महासम्मेलन को संबोधित करने के लिए संस्था की ओर से भेजा गया। बांग्लादेश में साधकों की संख्या काफी थी लोग काफ़ी उत्साहित थे। साधक साधिकाओं ने ब्रह्म मुहूर्त में गुरु सकाश, पाञ्चजन्य एवं योगासन का अभ्यास अनुभवी आचार्य के निर्देशन में किया।

संध्याकाल में सामूहिक धर्म चक्र व गुरु वंदना के उपरांत “रावा “की ओर से प्रभात संगीत पर आधारित नृत्य प्रस्तुत किया गया। विदित हो कि प्रभात संगीत संगीत का एक नया घराना है जिसे आनंद मार्ग के संस्थापक श्री प्रभात रंजन सरकार उर्फ श्री श्री आनंदमूर्ति जी ने दिया है । वरिष्ठ पुरोधा आचार्य विमलानंद अवधूत जी ने प्रवचन में कहा कि “आध्यात्मिक अनुशीलन एवं कुसंस्कारों के विरूद्ध संग्राम से ही शांति संभव है”

उपस्थित साधक- साधिकाओं को संबोधित करते हुए आचार्य विमलानंद अवधूत ने कहा कि व्यक्तिगत एवं सामूहिक जीवन में शान्ति ही आदर्श मानव समाज की पहचान है। आध्यात्मिक अनुशीलन एवं कुसंस्कारों के विरूद्ध संग्राम से ही शान्ति संभव है।
आदर्श मानव समाज की तीन विशेषताओं पर प्रकाश डालते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि प्रथमतः मनुष्य की जरूरतों एवं मन की बात को समझकर, समाज के विधि- निषेधों को बनाना आवश्यक है।
मनुष्य का दैहिक, मानसिक और आध्यात्मिक विकास हो सके उसका ध्यान रखना द्वितीय विशेषता है। सत्य को ग्रहण कर दिखावे वाले मान्यताओं, भावजड़ता, अंधविश्वास को नहीं मानना, यह आदर्श समाज व्यवस्था की तृतीय विशेषता है।
सामाजिक एकता की प्रतिष्ठा, सामाजिक सुरक्षा और शान्ति (मन की साम्यावस्था) आदर्श समाज व्यवस्था के मौलिक बिंदु हैं। सामाजिक एकता के लिए साधारण आदर्श, जातिभेद हीन समाज, सामूहिक सामाजिक उत्सव एवं चरम दण्ड प्रथा का ना होना आवश्यक पहलू है।
सुविचार(Justice) एवं श्रृंखला बोध या अनुशासन से ही सामाजिक सुरक्षा संभव है। आध्यात्मिक अनुशीलन एवं कुसंस्कारों के विरूद्ध संग्राम से ही शान्ति पाया जा सकता है। नीति ( यम – नियम) है मानव जीवन का मूल आधार, धर्मसाधना माध्यम और दिव्य जीवन लक्ष्य है। आचार्य ने कहा कि उपरोक्त सभी तत्त्व आनन्द मार्ग समाज व्यवस्था में मौजूद है।

“Festival of Bliss” (International Music and Cultural Festival) successfully held by Ananda Marga (Yoga and Meditation Center NY)

Ananda Marga (Yoga & Meditation Center) is an international organization working in more than 150 countries around the world in the fields of service, health, and education. Ananda Marga recently bought 101 acres of land in Stafford Springs, CT. This new project includes a plan for a wellness & meditation center as well as service in education and a microvita research center for alternative medicine. A comprehensive development endeavor for the future generation and it will also be a source of inspiration and spiritual growth for thousands of people from Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, and Boston, On April 21st Ananda Marga New York organized an International Music & Cultural Festival 2024 in New York for the public to raise awareness and understanding about this novel project and raise funds for the development. All funds raised will support constructing and maintaining Ananda Kalpataru Wellness and Meditation Center, a peaceful retreat center located in Stafford Springs, Connecticut, on 101 acres of forest.

The venue of this cultural night program (Festival of Bliss) was the community center auditorium at 143-09 Holly Ave, Flushing. Experience the magic of the Festival of Bliss, a one-of-a-kind annual celebration of art, culture, spirituality, and community!

The center will offer a holistic approach to wellness, including:

“Empowering Women, Enriching Communities: The Women’s Welfare Initiative of Ananda Marga”

Congratulations to the entire WWD Jaipur team for launching the Sisters Unit (Ananda Marga Pracharak Samgha Bhambori) women’s welfare center. Ananda Marga’s Women’s Welfare Department (WWD) probably concentrates on projects and activities meant to enhance the welfare, self-determination, and general well-being of women both inside the organization and in the communities it serves. Women throng to the center, their spirits soaring on wings of anticipation, their hearts ablaze with dreams.

These programs could focus on activism, healthcare, education, skill development, and women-specific support services.

Gurukul Summer Camp in Calicut, Kerala

Unleashing Potential: As’tanga Yoga Centre’s Gurukulam Special Summer Camp Transforms Lives in Calicut, Kerala

The As’tanga Yoga Centre in Calicut, Kerala, organized a Gurukulam Special Summer Camp for youngsters in the area, ages 8 to 15. The program, which ran from April 8 to April 13, 2024, attracted about 15 children. Yoga, arts and crafts, music, mind games, Kalari (ancient martial arts), and narrative sessions with moral and inspirational themes were among the activities offered during the camp. Throughout the program, the pupils were served wholesome meals. Together with guest trainers from Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha, such as Aca’rya Rasasiddhananda Avadhuta and Aca’rya Krsnasundarananda Avadhuta, the camp welcomed local trainers. Certificates and keepsakes were given to participants at the closing ceremony. Secretary Rashmi Ananda and her group successfully planned the event.

Revered Spiritual Gathering at Baba’s Birthplace Babanagar Jamalpur from 1st March 2024 to 3rd March 2024

Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha held a global-scale spiritual gathering, the Historical Dharma MahaSammelan, at the spiritually elevated place Jamalpur. The event saw an international influx of Margiis and Wholetimers from various countries, fostering a vibrant spiritual environment.

Vibrant Activities and Spiritual Insights Mark the DMS

During the DMS at Anandanagar, the schedule included spiritual discourses led by Reverend Purodha Pramukh Acarya Viswadevanand Avadhuta in both morning and evening sessions. The event featured a Rawa Cultural evening with the great message through dance, act and Prabhat Samgiita singing, Tandava Kaushikii Competitions, reporting sessions in the presence of PP Dada and the General Secretary of AMPS, Bhukti Pradhan Conference and 72 Hrs Akhand Kiirtan “Baba Nam Kevalam”. Additionally, PP Dada conducted prize distributions for outstanding performers in various categories, including Bhukti Pradhan performers, SDM Kiirtan Mandali, Wholetimers excelling in their fields, and the Tandava Kaushiki competition winners. Furthermore, PP Dada bestowed blessings upon 10 Revolutionary Married Couples during the event.
