Ananda Suvarna Rural Development Trust was founded in the year 2008 by Acharya Cinmayananda Avadhuta and Shri Jyotirmay Dev, to render services to the community in the field of rural development. There are water scarcity problems and poverty. The main objective is to develop education, healthcare, the environment, and other socioeconomic and cultural developments of the society. Our social activities are currently benefiting a population of 20,000 people living in the cluster of 15 villages in the area spread across 50 sq km.

Staffing Student Development
The cluster of fifteen villages around Kithandur has 2000 children belonging to the school-going age group. And of this, only 500 actually get to go to a good school imparting standard education, due to the financial inabilities of their guardians. Ours being the only school, in the closest proximity of the 15 villages, that provides quality affordable education, it has gained much popularity. We provide free education and health facilities to needy children through sponsorship programs from corporate companies’ CSR funds.
We have been successfully running a school, with a strength of 250+ students for a time more than a decade: We have free education facilities for all, from all school-related requirements to their higher study support along with a very good school campus with two school buildings, playground, and other facilities. Also, we have made arrangements for a school van. Currently, 100 students use this facility.

Free Asthma Camp
Ananda Suvarna Master Unit has been organizing free asthma camps for the last 20 years. And every year, we endeavor to organize 4 camps. There have been 2 camps in Kithandur, 1 in Srinivaspur, and 1 in Hindupur.
In every camp, around 5,000 patients participated. Patients from Kolar, Bangalore, and different districts of Karnataka have participated. Bangalore is an asthmatic city due to a cluster of industries and pollution, so people suffer from allergies, dust, smoke, and polluted air. Our program helps them a lot. This program has developed more sympathizers from local politicians, and officials, and is very well known among the local public.
Free asthma camp at Ananda Marga primary school, Kolar organized by Ananda Marga Universal Relief Team was led by Acharya Chinmayananda ji, a senior monk of Ananda Marga on 08/06/2018. The program was inaugurated by Sri Ramesh Kumar, Member of the Legislative Assembly and Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Karnataka.
