The Ananda Marga School in Darbhanga, established in 1963, is the first school of Ananda Marga and operates as a residential school with hostel facilities for children. Following the neohumanist model of education based on the Ananda Marga Gurukul system, the school provides a comprehensive range of facilities, including sports, music, dance, yoga, meditation, and computer education.

The school annually organizes functions within its premises, showcasing the talents and achievements of its students. Additionally, the school actively engages in various community-oriented activities. Recently, a PCAP (Prevention of Cruelty to Plants and Animals) Rally was organized by the Ananda Marga School to raise awareness among local residents about the importance of showing affection and care towards plants and animals. Students actively participated in the rally by displaying posters and banners containing social awareness messages promoting the well-being of plants and animals.

Furthermore, the Ananda Marga Darbhanga unit conducts a variety of activities. These include collective meditation programs held in the Jagriti hall, seminar classes on the social-spiritual philosophy of Ananda Marga, and Narayan Seva, which involves providing assistance to those in need. Through these activities, the Ananda Marga Darbhanga unit strives to promote spiritual growth, social awareness, and compassionate action in the community.
